jIIr my effort to share back to the community that has helped me on my journey into the digital forensics and incident response fields (DFIR).This blog is a platform for me to share my experiences, knowledge, and research about DFIR and information security.

A little background about myself, for the past four years I've been performing digital forensic examinations in support of financial investigations, fraud audits, acceptable use policy violations, and malware infections. In addition to digital forensics, I'm also invovled with performing vulnerablity assessments against NYS public sector organizations' enterprise-wide information security programs. A few more tidbits: I have over 6 years of experience in information security involving security assessments, vulnerability management, and configuration management. I also have over 10 years experience in the information technology field involving desktop support, Microsoft Windows server administration, and networking.

I have a MS in Information Assurance and a BS in Telecommunications. A few of my certifications include CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), EnCE (Encase Certified Examiner), IAM (INFOSEC Assessment Methodology), and IEM (INFOSEC Evaluation Methodology).
